Something not working?

Upcoming is made by one person, and that person reads every email.

Email ben@claycircuitstudios.com.

Tell me what you expected, what happened instead, and which iPhone or iPad you’re on. A screenshot beats a paragraph.

A widget is showing the wrong number

Widgets are refreshed by iOS on its own schedule, not on demand. Open Upcoming once — that pushes fresh data out to every widget. If it’s still wrong, remove the widget and add it back.

My countdowns aren’t syncing between devices

Check that the same Apple Account is signed in on both, that iCloud Drive is on, and that iCloud sync is switched on inside Upcoming’s settings. New installs have sync enabled by default; existing installs keep their chosen setting. After changing the switch, quit and reopen Upcoming.

I invited someone and they can’t see the countdown

Shared countdowns travel through iCloud, so the person you invited needs to be signed in to iCloud and running a version of Upcoming that supports sharing. If the invitation expired, send it again from the countdown’s detail screen.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Upcoming 4.0 includes unlimited countdowns, sharing, iCloud sync, widgets, Messages stickers, and keepsakes for everyone. There is no purchase screen or countdown limit.

Reminders aren’t arriving

iOS Settings → Notifications → Upcoming, and check that notifications are allowed and that a Focus mode isn’t filtering them. Upcoming schedules reminders locally, so if iOS has them switched off there is nothing the app can do from its side.

How do I delete everything?

Deleting the app removes what is on the device. What is in iCloud goes with iCloud Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage → Upcoming. There is nothing of yours on my side. See Privacy for the rest.

I have an idea

Send it. Several of the things in 4.0 started as somebody’s email.
